My Shamanic Life is a weekly podcast where I share the practices that keep me grounded and connected as a yoga teacher, a Shamanic Reiki practitioner and teacher, mentor, and a wildlife rehabilitator and advocate. I am a successful yoga teacher and spiritual healer, and, in gratitude, I chose to give back to the Earth in a hands-on, local way by becoming a New York State licensed wildlife rehabilitator. I rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned wild animals. I have a deep love of turtles and specialize in their healing and care, but I do occasionally take in others. The turtles that I am trying to heal most often have been hit by cars, but I have also had dog bite victims, turtles with abscesses, and even a baby painted turtle who was found in a roll of sod.

I never intended to monetize my podcast - I love sharing the magic of well-sequenced yoga practices and other healing modalities with you - but my turtle rehabilitation clinic (inside an old, stripped-out school bus) needs more equipment. Depending on their condition, the aquatic turtles, such as painted turtles and snapping turtles, that come into my care are housed in rubber tubs with heat lamps, glass tanks equipped with filters and UV lighting, or, when I can fund it, a large outdoor stock tank with a pond filter. I've maxed out my budget but don't want to have to turn away the next turtle that needs care.

By becoming a Patreon sponsor, you will be helping fund equipment for the turtle bus. That's the only place these funds will go. In return, I'll share exclusive content from the turtle bus so you can see how your dollars are being used to care for the turtles. If you enjoy my podcast, would you join me in giving back to the Earth in a meaningful way, so more turtles can be saved and return to the wild?
