Ghost on the Water

Redemption, Renewal and the Fight for Mother Earth

As we stand on the threshold of a climate disaster, the erasure of indigenous knowledge and culture carried out more than 500 years ago may yet turn out to be our most costly mistake.
Ghost on the Water explores the spiritual roots of environmental justice across America, from Columbus to Standing Rock, confronting an unsustainable energy paradigm and rescuing indigenous knowledge to forge a new one.

Project Origins & Status

Ghost on the Water, began nearly 3 years ago at the tail end of the Standing Rock movement in late 2016, when thousands of indigenous folks descended upon Washington DC to voice their opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline, just as many thousands more of their brothers and sisters were being violently repressed back in their reservation for protesting its construction.

Dozens of hours of footage and interviews have already been captured from coast to coast, but more work needs to be done. Once our pending production schedule is complete, we can start on post-production and release this important film.
