About
I was born in and raised in Ankara, Turkey in 1987. The thing is I had lucky of growing up in a family that always listened good music at home. They are not musicians neither I was at that time but I heard "Queen" because of them and my love for the rock music started growing steadily.
I have graduated from Physics Engineering in 2009. Worked 4 years in a GSM company so I could buy my guitars and other music stuff. Now I've thrown them all away because only work I want to do for my life is music. 2 years ago I quit my job, and never tried to get in any other. So I guess this is enough on About Me, the long story is on my web page article My journey in Musicianship ( It’s a long way to the top if you want to rock’n roll ).
To make a long story short, I started playing guitar at age 11. I've been in few bands in school and played for the first crowd in my life. I always self-practiced guitar but when I couldn't find an answer to my questions I took a few lessons to overcome the struggle and kept studying alone. I've been in few bands that played and made a name for theirselves in Ankara. I never could find a singer that would fit my mind and music so I decided to take vocal lessons. I still am self-studying on my vocals everyday and few videos that I sang are ready to be released soon. I also released an album with my band Sırmalı in 2013.
My friend and singer Izgi, have been singing popular music for years in best venues of Ankara. When I was in collage I was 17 and they wouldn't let me in music venues so I had to create a fake ID that would show my age higher. This way I could watch live bands and one of them was Izgi's band. I've been a fan of her band and herself, so it is a great pleasure that she is singing for me now.

**The Madcap UPDATE**
After working on music videos for few months, Izgi and I decided to form a Glam / Hard Rock band, which we later named The Madcap ( The Mad 'F' cap if you will ).
All I can say is we are aiming high. We hate the idea of being tied to a Turkish record label or a manager that would tell us to soften our style. We want to play the songs we like, record our songs as we like. So we would like to stay independent as much as we can.
We have few songs, demos recorded. We want to record them in a proffesional studio and shoot a great music video. First to release a single and then a full record. We want to climb our way up and play live in big Rock N' Roll festivals. So we run this crowd-funding project and any help, we will appreciate and will try to return your favor in time with great music, which will be free to our supporters.
Why support me?
You may ask why I ask for a tip here. The answer is simple. Because I want to make what I love, music. I live in Turkey, and it is really a hard life here for a musician. Besides the politic pressure on musicians and especially rock music, our currency is very low so it is very hard to acquire new tools to create better music and videos. I worked in a company for few years and I luckily I could by the guitars, and other music equipment you see in my videos. Why support me?
I reinvest what I earn to get better music and video gear to improve the quality of my work. You can see in our timeline I am working very hard for my music videos. Also along with covers we have a plan to release an album containing our original work and we want it to be great quality music!
One music video takes around 10-20 hours to arrange, record music and shoot. So please consider giving us a dollar (or however you much you like) per video or music that we upload to youtube or other sites. We will continue to bring you better productions, just for you!
What Do I Do?
Can't say only "I" because that would be totally selfish, I must to say "What we do" and why? because I got Izgi, family and friends who support me a lot, they help me in many things especially my Izgi who sings the music.
