Please support your favorite developer podcast.  There are costs associated with creating and hosting a podcast and I want help with meeting those costs.  In addition, getting some income from the show will make it easier for me to continue to create new episodes into the distant future.  Being a podcaster is rewarding in many ways and I'm loving it, even in the absence of making money from it.  I am creating something of value, though, and it is reasonable to ask that listeners give something of value in return.  In the early stages of the show, I have treated it as a hobby and not a business.  The time has come to decide if this is something I want to take more seriously.  Phil Haack shared on the show being happy to work for GitHub where advertising is not how they make money.  Kathleen Dollard also lamented the choice societies have made to pay indirectly by being tracked instead of directly.  I want Developer On Fire to earn income by an honest revenue model, like GitHub.  The simplest form that can take is listener support.  By helping me with this, you help to make inspiring stories and awesome wisdom from your fellow programmers available to all.
