SHADERed is a free, cross-platform & open source lightweight computer program that allows users to create and test their own GLSL and HLSL shaders. You can see how the changes you've made to the shader's code affect the output immediately.

SHADERed has many features. Besides pixel and vertex shaders, it supports compute, geometry & tessellation shaders. It has a built-in text editor (you don't have to use it though, you can use any code editor you want to) and a shader debugger. You can also: load custom 3D models, textures, cubemaps, modify render state and many more... Check the GitHub to see all features.

SPIRV-VM is a virtual machine for executing SPIR-V shader. This open source C library is mostly designed for debugging shaders..
