Staying Connected
reward item
$2
per month
Some people have asked how to be more in touch with Jaya's teachings and have the company of other people around the world who are walking their paths.

You are welcome to sign up and receive the support of:
  • Weekly Inquiry questions from Jaya
  • A monthly recommended meditation or Dharma talk
  • Early info about upcoming events, including a schedule of each month's open events
  • Invitations to the monthly online Full Moon Dance Party
  • And...Easier access to the Monthly Dharma Gatherings with Jaya
  • Jaya may also share fresh resources, such as transcribed talk excerpts, from time to time.

“Staying connected” will make it easier for you to join the Monthly Dharma Gathering, 90 minutes of meditation, Dharma teachings and dialog with Jaya and other friends around the world.

We will email you at the beginning of the month with the date and time for the monthly online Dharma Gathering, as well as the access code to the online meeting.
We will also send you a reminder email 2-3 days before the Dharma Gathering.
You will have access to the recording afterwards.

You can also enjoy two offerings from Jaya's current two-year online program called “Out of Nowhere.” This program started in May of 2019, and is not open to new participants, but is designed to share some resources beyond the container of the course...including:

~Weekly question for inquiry from Jaya.
You may simply like to reflect on the questions or let it prompt you in writing, doodling, or other other ways of getting into a deeper flow of mind..
Examples: What is joy? What moves you? What moves?
Participants in Jaya's online program practice 15 minute sessions of one-to-one “inquiry”--one person asks the question and the other simply listens. You may wish to set up your own inquiry with a friend.

~Full moon online dance parties each month
These parties are open to people in the “Out of Nowhere” program and their friends and family—and now also to you.

We will send you a monthly email with the schedule and access codes for all these events.
All these events are also open to people in the two-year program and their friends.

Creativity & Embodiment Lab
reward item
$2
per month
Jaya encourages meditative creativity—getting out of our heads and into our flow, with dance, paint, doodle, voice, pen, clay, garden, food.
Along with deep rest meditation, our spiritual paths need the juice of creativity, movement and joy.  Along with receptivity, we find wholesome expression in the world.

You are welcome to sign up for the “Creativity & Embodiment Lab” and receive the support of:

  • A live meditative movement session with Jaya each month
  • Monthly posts and prompts for deepening creativity and embodiment practice
  • Invitations to monthly Full Moon online dance parties
  • Invitations to “Mindless Gatherings”--2-3 sessions each week

~Meditative movement sessions

Meditative movement frees our experience of awareness and gets us in touch with other ways of knowing, leaving room for what is already aware. Not thinking about what movement comes next, we can feel
for the edge of the unknown, and discover what emerges
experientially in the flow of movement.  Inspired by the “embodied anatomy” of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Jaya's meditative movement also sometimes integrates Jin Shin Jyutsu, deep ecology, and constellation work.

~Monthly posts for deepening creativity and embodiment practice
Materials and links to support embodiment practices including Jin Shin Jyutsu physio-philosophy, anatomy, playful prompts and quotes.  Access to archive of posts available upon joining. Prompts could be used for writing, movement, drawing, cartooning, conversation, reflection, and other aspects of creative life.

You can also enjoy two offerings from Jaya's current two-year online program called “Out of Nowhere.” This program started in May of 2019, and is not open to new participants, but is designed to share some resources beyond the container of the course.  By joining the creativity lab you'll have access to two of the gatherings currently offered in the 2 year community:

~Full moon online dance parties
Join community members and friends for an hour-long online dance party each month, with playlists curated by different program participants.

~Mindless Gatherings
On her online programs, Jaya offers what she calls “Mindless gatherings”--an hour to be together while each doing one's own thing—whether doodling, knitting, hammering, resting, painting, dancing, cooking, playing an instrument, writing, meditating...whatever helps you rest out of your small mind and into your flow.
These gatherings are usually silent, though occasionally we might have the option of listening to the same podcast, but it is not a time for interacting verbally. Having the sense of others on the screen gives surprisingly good company.

We will send you a monthly email with the schedule and access codes for all these events.

About

Meditation through deep rest.
Embodiment.
Mindfulness and creative mindlessness.
Dancing and shaking off the dust of small mind.
As if no one is watching; as if you don't know what movement comes next.

Dropping out of “small mind” into “big mind”--where there's enough room for small mind, too.
Touching aliveness, inside and outside.
Curiosity.
Discovering and honouring the interweaving of inner and outer.
Discovering what is.

Dharmacosm is about the beauty of the whole. The whole person, the whole path, the whole community of earth.

Joining like-minded people around the world for these and other ways of connecting with life beyond ideas of right and wrong.

I am Jaya Ashmore, and I love to share meditation through deep rest, as well as other ways to connect with what is.
Along with other long-time friends in meditation, I would like to make it easier for you to stay connected with yourself and with others. Together, and each in our unique ways and paths, we can rest into life.

We hope you enjoy finding your own way of coming alive.

Your support through Patreon will help my organization Open Dharma share our library of recorded meditations and talk, to give scholarships, pay accounting fees, and take care of other admin costs.

None of the Patreon money comes to me personally.

I offer my teachings on a completely donation basis. If you want to support me, please check out the ways you can send me a gift:
