Didi Aphra

Hi! My name is Didi and I am a writer/artist. I've been an avid reader my whole life but until recently, I haven't considered the possibility of publishing a book as a real, tangible goal. Since stumbling onto the dark academia scene late last year, I've filled up pages and pages of notebooks with my fountain pen. Dozens of small pieces paper poetry litter my desk. My favorite writers are Sappho, Oscar Wilde, Donna Tartt, and Virginia Woolf.
The artist side of me is just something I nurture for fun, and painting is a new hobby I picked up during quarantine. My other hobbies include running through the woods in an enchanted forest, listening to Lana Del Rey and Hozier, and crying over fictional characters.
