Hi! My name is Andrew Gurza. I am a Disability Awareness Consultant AND Cripple Content Creator. I work as a blogger, podcaster and public speaker creating content around the lived experience of disability as it intersects with queerness. Let me tell you about my main project, and why it is important to me.

The DisabilityAfterDark podcast is a program that deals specifically with sex and disability, something that we very rarely see in popular culture. The podcast goals is to shine a bright light on sex and disability, going deeper into the topic than ever before. I produce all episodes, welcoming a diverse guest roster sharing what honest discussions around sex/sexuality for those with disabilities - are really like! DisabilityAfterDark is available iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher.

In the last two years, The DisabilityAfterDark Podcast reached the Top 10 Sexuality themed podcasts on iTunes 7 times, and it is now firmly established in the Top 100 podcasts in that category. With your help we can continue this trend!

I have just launched a new BONUS podcast called When I Was A Disabled Kid, which aims to look at disability and childhood stories, by interviewing disabled adults about how their disabilities influenced them growing up. Two episodes are available on the same feed as Disability After Dark RIGHT NOW.

By pledging here, you support both podcasts helping me create more "cripple content": "content for and by the disabled community" optimizing the quality of this digital content keeping conversations going around sex and disability, as well as disability culture and history. Your donations are used to purchase better recording equipment, keep the shows up and running, and help me share these conversations world wide. I couldn't do it without your dedication and support!

Thank you so much,

Tiers
Exclusive Content and all the rewards!
$1 or more per month

To make DisabilityAfterDark  as accessible as possible to everyone and to build support for the shows, the only reward tier we have is $1.   This will give you access to all kinds of rewards; early access to episodes, chances to video chat, blogs, shout outs on the air, etc.   Thank you so much for all your support.  To those who are able to give more, I thank you; to those who can only give this amount, I thank you as well.
Goals
$447 of $501 per month
With these pledges, I'll be able to create more content, and secure new equipment to optimize the listening experience of "DisabilityAfterDark."  I'm working with an intern, Kristen and these pledges will help me to pay them for their time and dedication researching show topic ideas.
