About Diverse Tech Geek

Hello! My name's Anthony Dean, and I run Diverse Tech Geek, a blog about media and technology. I've been running the blog since 2010.

About the blog

Recurring topics I write about include:
  • Comics, including a monthly upcoming comics picks post
  • Animation
  • Technology news and tips
  • Streaming video services
  • Linux/open source software
  • Diversity aspects in media and tech

Why a Patreon page?

I'm launching this Patreon page as a way to bring in some extra income, since I run this blog in my spare time (versus my full time "day job"). I also hope it'll be one way to cover the costs of running the blog, including web hosting fees.

Patrons will receive their names listed on my blog as a credit. Thus, this Patreon page will function more like a tip jar versus a multi-tiered reward structure. (Though if there's enough demand or things change, I'd be willing to consider such.)

Thank you for your support!
