Once we hit $500 a month in donations, I will add a new "Trusted Advisors" reward level, where I will host a Google hangout once a month to talk about my work, art techniques, and the problems that arise in the care and feeding of Mole People.

I am Cheyenne Wright. Cartoonist, Illustrator, Supervillain benevolent scientist, with a vision.
In addition to being the colorist for ten graphic novel collections of the Hugo award winning Girl Genius comics, I am also an illustrator for the Ennie award winning Savage Worlds roleplaying game and many other freelance jobs for Cheapass Games, Star Trek Online, Alton Brown and more.
After all that, I also donate my time to narrate short stories for podcasts like PodCastle, and the DrabbleCast. Add to that the care and guidance required in ruling the subterranean country of Moletopia and you can imagine that this leaves little time for me tooverthrow the world make more of my own art.
"Good for him" you might think "he's so busy". While my time may be spoken for by others, pay rates in the freelance art field are what they are, and I have been unable tocomplete my death ray make ends meet.
If I could vent off some of the pressure to take every job offer that comes along just to keep the lights on and the internet bilge pumps going -- maybe I could carve out the time to make a better world... all of them... better worlds...
