Milestone Goals
Keep Me Going
£15 covers general low level costs which means I can work basic jobs without having to lose money.
This will cover stuff like travel and food expenses while I'm out on the job.

Deeper Looks
(£35) Once funding reaches this level. I will spend more time producing behind the scenes material for my supporters to enjoy. So, as a supporter you can have a much deeper insight into my work!
Will no one think of the Creatives?!
£50 will allow me to have a small budget to pay or cover expenses for creatives that I work with. This will make it easier for me to find people to work with and will also support the creative scene in general by enabling me to pay creatives for the work they do so hard.
Budgets? What a novel idea.
£100 is enough for me to have a workable budget for my projects and could, depending on the project, go towards:
- More talented and professional creatives such as models, makeup artists, stylists, designers and more.
- Hire cool locations or travel father afield to reach that perfect spot.
Show Off
(£150) At this level of support, I could hold exhibitions for my projects for supporters to come see the work in person and meet those involved!
Now we've got something
£200 will allow me to utilise even bigger budgets to do bigger and better things and start to contribute to things like equipment purchases.
Additionally, when this goal is reached, I will start work on my first short film. Working title: Here/There

Is this stuff your job?
(£600) Well yes, if I was receiving this amount per project, my creative work could start to become the focus of my life. This would mean big things for my work and well, is totally the dream.
This is my job.
(£1200) At this point, photography would be my life. I would be getting enough money from supporters to live off of and also still have more than enough for HUGE budgets for projects.

Hi I'm Dom!
I'm a photographer and filmmaker from central Scotland. I work in a bunch of different areas, mainly Fashion, Portrait, Music and Events. So basically I love capturing people in all sorts of contexts. But don't take my word for it, you can check out all my work on my website!
Unfortunately a lot of my work is non-comercial and I publish the work for people to enjoy for free so I find it quite difficult to support my more creative work. Projects takes a lot of time and energy (for myself and the people I work with), my equipment is rather expensive, and currently I lose money on a lot of the creative projects I do.
Having supporters would give me budgets for projects and would mean I'd be able to do more work, focus more on the images than trying to find funding, and create bigger and better projects as well as experimenting with new things!
It would allow me to not make loss on my creative work and do things like:
- Work more often and improve the quality of my work.
- Cover personal costs that come with my work such as travel expenses.
- Hire talented creatives to work with me on projects and pay them the money they deserve for contributing to the work.
- Pay for new equipment to allow me to capture new and better things.
- Hire locations or travel to new ones.
- And much more...
How Patreon works is summed up in this video:
In my case, you'll be funding individual projects that I do, giving me a budget to work with. Have a look at the reward tiers and choose one that fits with your budget. Any amount you can contribute is a game changer and I don't mean that lightly. You'll be contributing on a per project basis which means that you'll only be charged after I've completed a project (on the 1st of the next month), and the money will go to fund the next project.
I will be doing at most 2-3 projects a month. Patrons will not be charged for commercial projects I am paid to do or for smaller projects. Support here is purely for more creative projects I do on my own time, creating images for image's sake, and that otherwise would be difficult to fund. I want to make sure that the projects you fund are worth the money you're so awesomely contributing.
By becoming a Patron you are directly supporting my work and helping me take my career to new heights.
