is creating Domus project, a miniature medieval palace stone by stone

Some day in 2009. An italian comic artist is riding his bike on the hills around Genoa, his home town. He finds some little slate and marble slabs and thinks: "Why not to build a medieval palace stone by stone from the basement to the roof? Graceful pointed arches, high striped columns, four mullioned windows on each side and marble floors of all colors... and a slim stone tower with a flag on its top!"

How do you say? No, he's not drunk, he can really see it! He knows he can do it and the slate travels with him to Spain, where he currently lives. The baggage is too heavy, so he must travel by ferry and train and in a couple of days the stones are ready to be used. But he still lacks a project, so he comes back to Genoa to find documentation about its medieval architecture, and after many sketches and rejected ideas, he finally got it: The DOMUS project!
A few months later he flies back to Granada and the work begins...

It's been ten years since then and he's still building his palace with stones, slate, marble, bricks and other stuff partially recycled from real construction materials and wastes. As he works in his free time assembling the walls brick by brick, the construction goes on very slowly, but he finds the time to describe every detail of the making process on his blog. The blog is totally free, but it's written mainly in italian and people from around the world can't read it. So he's looking for a way to spend more time on his project, translating all the entries to English and Spanish, hoping this could be a source of inspiration for other mini-builders.

Here is what you get becoming a Patron:

Every month he uploads at least 1 new chapter showing the construction process and the translation of older chapters that you can fully download in .pdf format (see a sample here). Besides that, you can see high resolution pictures, drawings, previews, information about the tools and materials he used and the real size of every single element. If you're a builder too and have questions about the construction method or any other aspect of the project, you can ask him and he'll be pleased to answer!

The master builder would like to have more time to work on his project, but first he needs to kill that annoying sense of guilt that comes over him when he steal hours from his real job to dedicate them to the Domus.
Can you help him?
