About

I've been doing coding ever since late middle school when I was first introduced to Gamemaker by a friend. As I entered high school I pursued computer and coding classes as almost all of my elective courses with the exception of art. Ever since I've been coding little games, and engines here and there. Creating games combines many of my interests including animation, drawing, problem solving, and gaming. Thanks to some very important friends, and Patreon I have the opportunity to do something I really enjoy. Please help me continue to create my silly little games and spread some gay nerdy entertainment.

Feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions ^ ^

THE GAME

Sexy Mad Science is an adult, furry themed, stat building and experimentation game, where the player is given a variety of tools to test on a lab subject. Through the game's development, and with the support of my Patrons, new tools, upgrades, and test subjects will become available. Visual Novel inspired story elements will lead the player through their journey of Intern to fully fledged Mad Scientist. Player freedom and variety are of the utmost importance to me; as such, tools will have a variety of different uses and reactions that will determine what kind of scientist the player becomes.

Sexy Mad Science is only available for Windows and does not currently have a Mac port. The game is also very much in alpha, which means graphics, sounds, UI, and content is still in development. Please be aware that bugs, and issues maybe present. The game will be free for everyone, while smaller updates will be Patron exclusive, larger builds will be released to the public sporadically. If you have any hesitation about supporting this project, please wait for a public release to test the game yourself.

Greetings

Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I'm a casual artist who's been working part time while taking commissions in between work. I've always loved art and drawing, but my real passion has always been coding and game design. I've created this Patreon account so that I can create and share my silly little games with my friends and fans.

What is Patreon?

Patreon allows viewers and fans of creators to show their appreciation by donating money on a per month or per update model. Patrons can set whatever amount they'd like to donate, and have the freedom to change that amount or cancel it entirely at any time. So for instance; if you only want to make a one time donation, you can set your amount and after the month is over, or an update has been posted, you can then cancel your donations. It's also possible to put a monthly cap on your donations. That way, if a creator posts multiple updates in the month, you will never donate more than your limit.

I'll be using the per month model for this project. This will give patrons more security when donating, and help me stick to a schedule for when updates need to be posted. This will also allow me to set more concrete project goals.

How it Works?

Updates will occur sporadically, hence the per update model. I will not post more then 2 paid updates a month, however I encourage any patrons to set a monthly cap to ensure they don't go over any financial limit they may have. I will however post regular patron exclusive updates in the form of screenshots, WIP sketches and artwork, as well as in progress builds whenever available.

Research and Development

Community interaction is important to me: as the people playing my game, I want your input on how you feel the game should progress and what should be done next. As such, each month I'd like to hold a poll on what item should be made next, but this won't be just any item, it'll be an item suggested by a fellow patron. Each month Assistant level and higher Patrons will be able to send me suggestions for new items and tools. I'll select several of the suggestions and open a poll to ALL patrons to vote on the tools and items. The highest voted tool will be selected and added in one of the next updates.

Creativity and oddity are highly encouraged. Patrons can suggest any number of items, but please remember that only one item per month will be selected in the end. Also note should a Patron suggest multiple items, only one of those will be added to the poll. As such, sell your suggestion. Be descriptive; what it looks like, how it sounds, how it feels, etc. Also, it's important you explain what the item does and how it will affect the subject. Can it be used on multiple areas, or is it only for one use? Does it have different effects on different areas? How does it affect the subject emotionally? The more details you give, the better sense I'll have of how to implement the tool into the game.

Not all suggestions will be added to the poll. I'll add the tools that I feel are the most interesting, and are possible to add to the current game without excessive rewriting of existing code. Tools that are inappropriate, don't mesh with the current game, or would involve too much coding will be removed. Depending on how creative the suggestion is, I may recommend or make minor changes to the suggestion to make it possible to add. Depending on the number of suggestions, I may veto more or less suggestions as a result.

The final winner(s) will also have their name or username (of their choice) added to the credits of the game. This poll will not be done 'first come first served:' should multiple people make the same, or similar suggestion, all their names will be added.

If there are no acceptable suggestions made, then I will create my own list of a few currently planned items, and the winner of that poll will be the next item added.

Suggestions can be send through the message system on Patreon or directly to my e-mail [email protected]

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who plays my silly little game. It really means the world to me, and thank you to all those who have helped support and encourage me through the creation. I wouldn't be able to do this if it wasn't for all the support I've received. Whether you choose to play the game, donate, or just leave a kind comment it really means the world to me.
