Alien Hand Syndrome is a comic about two girls, Mina and Erin, being recruited by an organization dealing with supernatural incidents. They'll encounter ghosts, demons and mysterious spirits trying to take over people's bodies.
All the while trying to figure out all those confusing feelings they have for each other.

I've been working on this comic for a few years now, but I never had as much time to invest in it as I would've liked.
While I did start Alien Hand Syndrome as a hobby in my spare time, in my heart of hearts I've always wanted it to be something more. But for that to happen, I need your support.

You can be directly responsible for there being more AHS in this world!

One of the options I've been looking into before Patreon was advertising, and I wasn't too thrilled about it.
The biggest problem to me with advertising is this: Ad networks that pay well have strict content guidelines.

I feel like I'm at a crossroad right now, I need to decide pretty soon whether I want to tone down the comic or not.
Overall AHS would largely be the same either way, but if this Patreon thing works out, I won't have to compromise my

"Wait, what's Patreon anyway?"

Patreon is a relatively new crowdfunding platform. Think of it like Kickstarter, but for content creators instead of projects. A perpetual Kickstarter, if you will, or a more direct form of donating.

It works like this: You support content creators by pledging a small amount of money (0.50$, 1$, 3$, etc.) per content update.
In this case that would be every time I update AHS, whatever that’s worth to you.
(I am only counting actual AHS comic updates, no filler material, etc.)

As a patron, you can specify monthly spending limits, in case you're worried I suddenly upload millions of pages all at once. You can also modify your pledge, or stop payments at any time. It’s all based on goodwill!

You will then receive exclusive rewards for pledging, depending on your pledge level, in a facebook-like timeline.

About those rewards...

The main reason I am doing this Patreon is to be able to focus more on making the comic. Taking time away from it to create complex rewards feels counter productive at this point, that's why I'll try to keep the rewards pretty simple for now.

Everyone pledging any amount will receive:
  • Access to the patron only feed, which contains progress updates, sketches and behind the scenes stuff.
  • Free wallpapers, once they are released.
  • Free eBooks (pdf/cbr), once they are released. Starting with chapter 1+2, once chapter 2 is finished.

Note: The numbers below are just suggestions, you may pledge any amount you want.
