We've gotten a bunch of new headsets for the podcast, and we just need three more to finish outfitting the group with top-of-the-line microphones!

Primary, Ongoing Goal: Allow us to continue putting out sweet content without having to pay out of pocket. We love doing this and we want to make sure we can continue doing it, no matter what our personal situations are. We’ll put this money towards hosting costs, towards improving our recording quality; we’ll buy more games to get angry at on YouTube, we’ll buy more RPGs to run. Most importantly, we’ll be able to pay for audio backups. We currently have 6TB of external storage for our show, as well as a carbonite account. We’re going to need more. We’re a bit prolific. We’ll be able to devote more effort and sweat to putting together more content for you to cram down your lovely earholes.

First Milestone: We have sexy voices. We’d like you all to be able to hear our sexy voices without having to wince at background noise or bad microphones. We want our podcasts and let’s plays to sound good. Currently, we have varying different microphones for each person, and we record the actual Skype call. This is simpler from an editing perspective, but it means we’re recording already compressed audio which is then further manipulated. We want to standardize our microphones - a huge element of ensuring good sound quality. We want to be able to record individual audio - what’s called a tape sync - and then stitch that audio together. Both of these require more care and diligence and more access to better tech than we currently possess.
