Papercrafts are 2D printable templates that can be cut out and glued together to create 3D models. These can range in complexity from quick, simple builds to large, intricate projects. Usually you can find and download them off the internet - completely free!

I post the templates I create to
ultimatepapercraft.com

Ultimate Papercraft started on Google's free blog platform in 2011. It was to be a place I could host my creations after I discovered a new hobby: papercraft. Building 3D models from 2D paper templates was a perfect way to combine my love of video games and making things. I built several models I downloaded from the internet, and quickly came to wonder "Why can't I make these?". From there started a long road of learning new skills, from 3D modelling to spatial awareness, as well as the basics of design and operating a website. Since then I have created and shared quite a number of templates with the internet - all for free.
Now, as an adult, it is difficult to spend as much time on papercraft as I once did. However, these templates have always been free and I want as much as you do to keep them free. So, I came to the decision to try and fund my papercraft through Patreon. It's simple - I keep making things you like for free, and I ask for a small contribution to help me with hosting, bills and more.

I love Art, crafts and Nintendo games, and papercraft was a perfect way to combine these hobbies. Most of the templates I create are of things I love, so Nintendo characters are a big focus. I spent a lot of my teenage years learning the skills to create templates through practice - editing and creating 3D models, tweaking or completely revamping textures, translating a 3D model into an easily buildable template. Building the models requires a lot of practice and the quality of the photographs I take of the completed builds has improved too. From start to finish, these templates require a lot of time investment!

With your support I can buy new equipment like printers, photographic lights, maybe even a cutting machine. I will be able to increase the production quality of the templates as well as make them in a larger volume.
Thanks for your help!
