One dollar is the amount it takes to get a coffee from a street cart here in NYC, so thanks for that caffeine boost! I got addicted to these little blue caffeine vessels during my internship year in the city. There is no greater feeling than your coffee guy recognizing you and making your order to pass it over the heads of the indecisive high schoolers.

With this tier, you get access to all the writing on this blog, because I want to make my writing as accessible as possible to the people who need to see it! Yay!

You jut bought me lunch! Thanks! This is the cost of a meal from a halal cart in NYC. They'll try to charge you more if you look like a tourist, but don't let them get away with that nonsense. I once just stared at a vendor until he gave me the correct change. I think the black void of my soul frightened him.

You get everything from tier 1, plus (once we reach the $300 goal), a downloadable Ebook of my novella, The Secrets of Blakesley Manor.

About E.A. Summers-Jones

I am a writer trying to make ends meet in NYC. Nearly everything I write has a queer element to it (by which I mean all of my protagonists are giant lesbians, most of them butches, in various fantasy and sci-fi settings). No more dead lesbians here.

My mission statement is to write all the kinds of books that I loved to read as a kid, but with like 800% More Gays. I loved (and still do love, who are we kidding) Tamora Pierce, Meghan Whalen Turner, and Sarah Waters (less as a kid, more as a gay).

So how will this silly blog thing help me do that? Well, this is kind of an experiment, to see if it can help me. I want to be traditionally published, so I'm hoping that I can get an audience here as well as use this income to free up the time that I would otherwise spend working, so I can focus on my writing.
Goals
$151.20 of $375 per month
And there's my student loans. Hitting this goal gives me 1-2 days off per month to concentrate fully on writing, editing, and submitting my work to publishers (yikes).
