About

Welcome!
I really appreciate you checking out my Patreon page for the Necro Nom-nom-nomicon and my blog, www.eatthedead.com.

If you're here that means you're thinking of helping to support the Necro Nom-nom-nomicon and for that I say a genuine and heartfelt thank you!

What is the Necro Nom-nom-nomicon?
I personally believe that every recipe I makes should  be easily accessible to cooks with a wide range of experience and skill levels...and if you can make it look disgustingly delicious at the same time...then why not?!?

All my recipes include 100% edible and readily obtainable (or easily sourced) ingredients like squid ink, fresh vegetables, and…for the truly brave…consumption grade insects.

The Necro-Nom-Nom-Nomicon is a carefully curated collection of elegant recipes and techniques and elegant DIYs and tutorials I’ve spent the past 20 years perfecting. It’s full of step-by-step recipes aimed at a more mature palate. Yes, it looks like I’m serving you a real flayed human skull, but take a bite…it’s gourmet prosciutto. Oh, and that creepy realistic Facehugger? A spatchcocked chicken and homemade sausage tail. Here, why not wash that all down with a light and refreshing Pina-ghoulada?

Now you're probably asking yourself 'How did a nice girl like you get interested in making nasty stuff like this?'  My obsession with disgustingly delicious creations comes as a direct result of my 15+ years of experience working in the film and television industry in Hollywood.  With job titles ranging from Blood Slinger on “Hatchet,” Production Assistant on “The Ring 2,” Costume Designer on “The Co-ed and the Zombie Stoner” to most recently Staff Writer on the Syfy series “Z Nation,” I have fully immersed myself for almost two decades in the world of the dark and bloody and have worked with and been trained by some of the most talented people in the industry.

It's not all fun and games

Because of this training and my undying (yes, pun intended) desire to maintain a professional level product from beginning to end, curating and creating The Necro-Nom-Nom-Nomicon takes a lot of time and effort.  I spend hundreds of hours each month researching recipes, cooking dishes, modifying them, coming up with unique techniques and testing new ingredients.

Along the way I have to purchase ingredients and supplies, prep the process, fully photo document everything, edit the photos, and assemble it all into a final recipe that's not only easy to understand and follow, but that looks like what I'm trying to make it look like (sometimes easier said than done!)

Where you come in
I need your help to keep the Necro Nom-nom-nomicon going strong.  Let me start by saying that the recipes and tutorials on www.eatthedead.com will remain free.  But if you choose to support me, you will get rewards and access available only to Patreon members (including exclusive swag, personalized messages from both Lucifur and myself, and much much more!)

My first goal with Patreon is to raise $200 a month.  It might not seem like a lot, but that amount will help offset the cost of my ingredients as well as equipment and supplies.  Personally, I think that's the way it should be; I only get funded if I'm actively creating.

Wrapping it up
If you like what you see and want to be a part of the bloody disgusting magic that is the Necro Nom-nom-nomicon, then welcome aboard!  I will always be eternally grateful for any and all support I receive from my fans.

So, from the kitchen of the little girl who grew up with a family who lovingly called her “The Devil’s Spawn,” may I say to you…

“Bone appetite.”
Goals
35% complete
$200 usually covers about half the costs of all my ingredients and supplies for a month of creating. Those funds go towards ingredients as well as the extras I use to create these morbid yummies and creepy projects like custom molds, silicone, paint, and glitter...always glitter.
I'll also be setting a little aside each month in a "Bail me out" fund...just in case the cops ever decide my skull cakes look a little too real...  :)
