About me

I've been creating larps professionally for a little over three years, and I've been doing so as an amateur for far longer. I was born in the Balkans in the midst of the civil war in 1992, but I grew up in Denmark and have been doing a lot of my work in Poland for the past few years. I've friends and acquaintances from all over the world, and I know intimately the dangers of chauvinism.

Consequently, I've tried to imbue each larp I've been part of creating just a little bit of the breadth of the human experience. My greatest ambition is to exalt in complexity instead of simplifying away our diversity. I also think Dungeons & Dragons is pretty cool I guess.

What have I done in the past?

I've been the main writer on the following projects for about 3 years:

I was one of the two main organisers at the EU4: Grandest LAN Party both times it ran.

Why this Patreon?

I hope to be able to support myself by doing what I love without having to be all too worried about starving or dying of exposure. Since I'll mostly be doing physical and clerical day laboring until I find a new permanent position, I won't have much time to do game design or game writing on the side. That is, unless Patreon pulls through and gives me some very unexpected help.

What's in it for you?

Honestly, I'd be lying if I said you should expect all that much. At least the way it looks right now. Think of it like a good old and proper patronage back in the Renaissance. Pay a good-for-nothing layabout artist and hope the drunken fool works his way up to painting your roof, or the Mona Lisa.

Maybe if Patreon starts making me quite a bit of money that'll change, but right now think of it more like a courtesy to me if you've ever liked any of the stuff I've produced in the past, or have hope that I'll be able to produce more in the future if given the tools and peace of mind.

Thanks, I suppose I appreciate it even more.

$22 of $2,000 per month
At this level of donations I'll actually be able to live exclusively off of Patreon, even if somewhat meagerly. I'll be more surprised than you if it ever amounts to that.
