Right now I do all my editing with free or cheap software. I've learned to do pretty well with it, but let's face it—the professional stuff always makes a better product.

If we can reach this milestone, I'll be able to upgrade to the TOP OF THE LINE Adobe software. What does this mean for YOU? I'll be able to make higher-quality videos and graphics with these professional tools, giving everyone better stuff to watch! It's a big win-win!
Get 3DS Capture Device!

Right now, I've been using a borrowed DS Capture for my videos. Which was great to get started, but I want to grow beyond that.

This is my BIG FOCUS GOAL right now! Seriously, let's all band together to MAKE THIS HAPPEN! What will it mean if I get my own 3DS Capture, you ask?
• More consistent video schedules! (No more shared equipment)
• Ability to record NEWER games, such as Pokemon X/Y, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, and other Pokemon games for the DS and 3DS!
• More LIVE, INTERACTIVE content, such as Online Pokemon Battles, Wonder Trading, and other things using the online features of the newer games. THIS COULD BE SUPER FUN!
• Access to record non-Pokemon games! Depending on fan request, I could do everything from the portable Kingdom Hearts games to Majora's Mask to any number of different great games for this system! 
• In general, this would be a HUGE benefit for this channel, and for EVERYONE who enjoys watching it!

Why Pledge to Edison T. Crux?
As Marriland's little bro, I've got some big shoes to fill in. I may not be Marriland, but I have been working to build a pretty awesome channel full of gameplay footage and entertaining commentary. To my surprise, people really enjoy these fun videos I make! 

I'm not yet a professional YouTuber, and have to work with the equipment and setup I've got. BUT, if you like what you see and want to be part of building a bigger, better channel, making a pledge is a great way to do that! I use the funds from pledges to get better equipment, improve my setup, and sustain myself and my family so that I can do this full time! 

Plus, I'm also a writer of urban fantasy books, which people really seem to enjoy. (Seriously, look at some of the reviews on these books!) I've tied in those books to pledge rewards, as another cool little benefit for people pledging. So if you like awesome books, there's another good reason! And if you don't, I still have cool stuff for those of you who just wanna see me play games =)
