About Eima Blank

Life events have changed the way I can envision a career but I have always been practicing some kind of artwork, I just never tried to make it professionally. Few weeks ago, I registered with a concourse and I am taking this as a way to explore many techniques, deepen my thematic and learn me better, what I like to do, what I enjoy to do, how long it takes and how much return can I have.

People around me usually enjoy my artwork, but the concourse is another level. Few artists will be selected for their artistry and delivered an attestation by a museum and I am competing for this kind of recognition, because a museum does not acknowledge beauty. A museum acknowledges the message that we carry with artwork and the research we put into our journey to create a collection.

In 2017, I started to blog on the history of religion. In 2019, I started to invest some time to compile information on the religious sites of Los Angeles to show how religions have impacted the rise of Hollywood. In 2020, I remodeled my personal website and published some of my work on geometry, drawings, cartoons and sublimations. In February 2021, I remodeled the religious map and merged it with a non-profit I have created in March 2020. I feel now that I have the structure of something I had at heart to do and where my artwork is complementary to my other activities such outings, writing, photography and research.

Last year around April 2020, I created my first sublimation to transfer watercolor on fabrics. I have improved my techniques and invested in some material. I made other tests and created my first (finished) religious artwork. For the concourse, I am working right now on an etching print series, and I have one other paint in the process. This is what I am planning to share on Patreon for now.

I am planning to use my Patreon blog as a journal and record this journey until the next step. I don't know if I have the profile of a professional artist and this is something I am testing. I don't know if I have the talent to live on my art and I don't know how committed I am going to be, so let's start and see.
Goals
$0 of $500 per month
When reaching $500 earnings each month on Patreon, I can allocate hours each week to create and edit videos of my process for drawing, modeling and making photography in Los Angeles. I would display those videos on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram and try to increase my revenue with advertising and having more viewers.
