Eleanor D'Occitania: Poetry as the stigmata of life. Every poet imagines that his or her poetry is written in blood from a divine source. The words often flow of their own accord, like blood from stigmata in the palms of the hands, finding their way to the vellum of poetic musings, sometimes pumped directly from a broken heart seeking to use the words as glue to mend it as it bears the cross of unrequited love, dashed dreams or the seasons of life that pass all too quickly as we are occupied with the mundane. We shall explore and experience all of these here together. Put your hand in mine and feel the pulse of my words beating there in rhythm with your soul.
