About Emily N. Goff
Emily N. Goff (she/her) is an artist who makes her home in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Art is her joy as well as her vocation, and through some twists and turns of life, she has come to support herself and her son with her artwork.
Emily has professional experience in animation & visual effects (as well as a bachelor’s degree of that nature), courtroom sketching for the local news, murals, architectural illustration, and she even did face painting for a couple of years locally during non-pandemic times.
In the last few years, Emily has been working on writing and illustrating a children’s book about Type 1 Diabetes inspired by her own son’s diagnosis in 2017; she released the book at the end of 2020 with the help and support of her patrons, and it is currently available to purchase here on her website.
Emily primarily works in watercolor paints for commissions, but she also works in other mediums sometimes. Her artwork lives in homes all over America, and in several other countries as well.
It is Emily's current goal to be able to take more time to create non-commissioned artwork so she can start trying to get her work into galleries and growing her art career, while also taking care of her son on her own. That's where, you, the patron, come in. With your support, you can make this dream possible! With your support, Emily can take on less commissions each month and dedicate more time to growth and exciting new original artwork.
