The Empire Files is an investigative documentary and interview series hosted by Abby Martin, covering domestic and international issues with a context that always seems to be missing: that the US is the biggest, most expansive empire in human history.
The Empire Files team––which includes a variety of dedicated videographers, editors, animators, graphic designers, composers, audio engineers, writers, researchers and more––have spent nearly three years doing dedicated, rigorous, and sometimes life-threatening work to deliver a high-quality, politically important show.
We have been fully independent, ad-free and donor-funded for the past year. Because production costs are incredibly high, we are not creating content as quickly as we hoped. With the ongoing fundraiser, we plan to become sustainable enough to produce more than one episode per month. With your help we can put out even more.
