Hi, we are Doug and Juliette and we develop our game Avoyd whilst providing contract services to the games industry. In the process we create and maintain open-source software for game developers and blog about it on our website. Since we use a lot of other people's open sourced tech ourselves, we advocate for it on @IndieGameTech, along with highlighting small commercial engines and technology.

Our hope with this patreon is that we will be able to dedicate more time to our game and open source projects. We would love to open source more of the code we've developed for Avoyd, along with making more videos, articles and content to go alongside these projects. We'd greatly appreciate your support.

Feel free to get in touch with us on twitter @dougbinks or @juulcat or email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Omar Cornut, the maker of Dear ImGui used by several of our projects, also has a Patreon! Please support him:

Avoyd Game

Avoyd is an abstract six degrees of freedom First Person Shooter voxel game and a First Person Editor. The editable terrain is made of constrained morphing voxels. If you want to know more, check out our devlog and the interview we gave on Warp Door. The game is available for sale or download from our site, with regular updates. Currently the game includes a voxel editor and prototype gameplay with single player and LAN coop.
