Hello, my name is Federico Pusceddu (somebody knows me as 93sunderland) and I want to show you my personal project I've been working on for more than three years with the Unity Engine. I'm creating a Survival Horror videogame inspired by classical Resident Evil and Alone In The Dark styles but with a First-Person perspective.
ENTITY IN MANSION is the name of this game that I want to share you with a free playable demo. You can play an early version that shows the map, the gameplay and other some features of the game, but a lot of them will be changed in future, and the next versions of the game will contain other new features. The maps of this current demo are quietly empty because up to now I've been focused to develop a non-linear gameplay, where you won't be limited to walk into straight corridors and kill the enemies. Finally, the demo can contain some bugs, so you could help me to test the game and report to me all kinds of problems you discover.

Now I show you all the current features of the game, but all of these could be changed in future.
  • STORY: The main character, whose the name is unknown, has to save a man who is asking for help, trying to survive into a mansion full of deadly monsters and solving a lot of riddles that block his way. The more he explores the mansion, the thicker are the secrets he'll discovers, but he cannot escape without answers.
  • GAMEPLAY: You have to explore the mansion as much as possible to find every item you need to reach the target, like keys to open locked doors, weapons to kill the monsters or medical kits to heal yourself. The exploration is the most important thing, indeed, sometimes you need to backtrack through the mansion to go on with the game, but sometimes you have to stop and think because there are a lot of riddles you must solve.
    • Limited inventory - You can pick up a lot of items but you cannot carry more of them than the number of slots of your inventory, but if you want to free some space you will able to DROP any item you have and leave it on the ground, so you will take it again when you need.
    • Examination and documentation - Sometimes you have to EXAMINE the key items or read the FILES you find in the mansion to discover some useful informations that help you to go on with the game. All these actions can be done from the inventory.
    • Saving system - You cannot save the game whenever and wherever you want, but you have to find and use the Save-Laptop, namely a point where you can save your progress, but only when any monster doesn't chase you. Furthermore, sometimes the game creates automatically a temporary Checkpoint, and you can use it until you quit the game, because it will be erased.
    • Double equipment - You can use two kinds of equipment at the same time: your right hand holds the Weapons and your left hand holds the Sources of Light. For example, you can equip the revolver to defend yourself from the enemies and equip the flashlight to see in the dark at the same time. But you cannot equip two weapons or two sources of light simultaneously.
    • Strong enemies - You will find a lot of monsters that will try to kill you, but you can kill them using firearms and meele weapons. These monsters die hard, so you have to save ammo when you need understanding the right moment to combat or to run away. And keep an eye on your health, because the monsters can kill you easily.
    • Many interactions - An important feature of this game is the possibility to interact with several things, like to open and close drawers and lockers, to toggle lightswitches, to examine paintings and more. A lot of other kinds of interaction will be added during the development of this game. 
    • Smartphone - You are able to use a Smartphone from your intentory, so you can call somebody or you could get calls from somebody, but there are also some apps installed in the smartphone you can use. A lot of other apps will be added in future.
  • MAP: There is only a great game map composed by many levels that are all linked each other through particular kind of doors, stairs, ladders or elevators. You can visit all places of the map whenever you want, but you will pass through a loading screen if you change the game level. If you think you left an important item somewhere, remember that you are always able to retrieve it.
  • GRAPHIC: Unfortunately, the graphic is not the highlight of this game, indeed, I created a lot of 3D models in this game but many of them, especially the humanoid models, are not nice to see. I'm not a good 3D modeler and I don't want use too many preexisting assets. However, the lighting system is not totally optimized yet, but for now you'll see that almost all lights in the game can be turned on/off by lightswitches.

I created this Patreon page because I have been developing this game all alone for so long, but I would like to continue this project with someone else... I'll search someone who wants support me until the final release of this game, but I don't have money to share with a hypothetical partner. So, I beg you to consider the idea to donate and support me if you like the demo of Entity in Mansion and if you are curious about new features that will be added in later version of the game. And, if you don't want to spend money, don't worry! You can just tell me your opinion about the game and leave constantly comments to let me know that you are insterested to this project.

I used some textures, icons, models and sound effects which were designed by other authors.
