Equity At The Tableis creating a database of women/gender non-conforming folks in food
Equity At The Table (EATT) is very much inspired by the aphorism that it's better to "build a longer table, not a higher fence." EATT is a practical and proactive response to the blatant gender and racial discrimination that plagues the food industry. EATT is an easy-to-navigate database for food industry professionals featuring only women/gender non-conforming folks and focusing on POC and the LGBT community. Are you an editor, conference organizer, restaurateur, agent, or author who is looking to hire or feature someone? We've got you covered. Are you someone who has experienced abuse in the workplace and is looking for a lawyer or journalist who can help you understand your rights? We've got you covered. Are you a freelance writer looking for a bookkeeper? Are you just starting out and looking for work created by someone who looks like you or is from where you are from? We've got you covered. EATT is as much a directory as it is a community. This Patreon page is a tangible way to support our work (hosting fees don't grow on trees!) and we thank you for your support.
