Why a patreon?

I'd like to invite you along with me as I create works for (mostly) myself. 
Patreon is a very cool way to give some props to artists you like and want to support. You can pledge as little as $1 to get art updates, and $2 more for behind-the-scenes stuff like WIPs, lessons, videos, psds, and more.

This is what I'd like to focus on:

-DRAWING, PAINTING! all kinds of subject matters, all kinds of genres, digital AND traditional techniques. I will be up to suggestions/ideas from certain levels of patrons!

 (Must be okay with tasteful nudes! I'd like to share figure drawings and studies with my patrons.)

NOTE: a lot of my current audience comes from furry communities, but please know that the content I create here will be NOT-furry. But there will be lots of cute animals! 
 
-LEARNING. I'm always experimenting. That's why my style is all over the place, and my painting techniques are not always the same. I'd love to share with others what I've learned, show WIPs, show things like before-and-afters, Photoshop tips, etc.  One thing that Patreon can help me with is figure drawing classes, drawing nude models. During school this helped my drawing skills tremendously. Repetition is key. I'd love to share life studies and observations with my patrons.

-POTTERY. Most people know I dabble in pottery. I'm happy to share projects in progress, make more videos, share technique, and find ways to expedite my process and in turn make MORE for art shows, conventions, and my Etsy.

-SHARING. I have been drawing for the majority of my life.  I grew up drawing lots of cartoon characters, cartoon animals, and became inspired by nature, animation, and video games. I earned my BFA in Animation/Illustration after five years of tutelage, and I now have 8 years of professional experience under my belt. I have learned a lot over this time! I feel capable and eager to share some knowledge with people who are interested in art fundamentals that have helped me improve. I can also offer some critique on artwork, for certain patron levels. Note: There are many of you out there who are so out-of-this-world skilled that I will probably have nothing to teach you.


Yes, I will be sharing finished products with the rest of the web. But what YOU get as a patreon will be my insights, WIPs, the occasional opportunity for custom art, tips and tricks, and more!

My journey! 
For me, art is about communicating ideas, emotions, and stories. For the past many years I have focused mainly on making art for others, and I'm interested in bringing the focus back onto me and my own personal and professional growth. You are welcome to join me on this journey!
