Extra Credit started back in July of 2016 as fan podcast of The F Plus. Since then, it has started to stand on its own two legs and walk amongst the filthy oddities of the internet. Still devoted fans, Extra Credit reads terrible things that The F Plus decided to toss aside, but we’ve also started receiving documents of our very own to explore our particular brand of bizarre internet. Come hear us read baffling thoughts, revolting actions, and confusing never-ending sentences that may or may not have a closing parenthesis! On Extra Credit, one thing is clear: The Internet Isn’t Helping!

We have decided to re-launch our old Patreon page! We had come to the conclusion a couple years back that we didn't feel right accepting donors when we didn't have a consistent release schedule, so we deactivated our account. However, in the past few years, we've found ourselves and have been consistent in putting out content. People have asked how they can throw some money our way, so we agreed that we could open this up again and give people who just want to donate a place to do so.

What exactly are we going to do with the money? Save it, largely. People donating will be helping us pay for our storage server, our various jigs and lures, and potential equipment upgrades. Another thing we're interested in creating is an F Plus/Extra Credit community fund of sorts. Should we somehow find ourselves with a surplus of donations, we would redirect the money into this fund and used to help in community-related situations.

For example, a few years back Adam Bozarth needed help getting the money to make it to Seattle for F Plus Live and the community gave generously. Another smaller example would be should a reader's recording equipment fail them, we could help them replace it. Either way, the money would make it back to the show and the people who help make it happen.

The following is a rough estimate of how the money would be used:
A total of $5 a month would ensure all base costs would be met for continuing Extra Credit. We will still do it without meeting this mark, mind you.
Anything after that would go into the aforementioned rainy day fund, not to exceed $500. Decisions will be made by the cast and crew of Extra Credit as to how to allocate such funds.
Finally, if somehow we exceed both of these, it's been agreed upon that the money would be distributed to the show's host and facilitator.
