Hey there! I'm Fabio, a self-taught full-stack developer passionate about open-source and empowering people.

I make and maintain lots of software that I created to solve my own problems and then shared with the community, because solving one person's problems is not good enough when you can help millions, and I want to help as many people as possible, the same way countless peoples' work help me every day.

My work

  • Notable: The markdown-based note-taking app that doesn't suck. I couldn't find a note-taking app that ticked all the boxes I'm interested in, so I built my own.
  • Cash: An absurdly small jQuery alternative for modern browsers.
  • 30+ VS Code extensions, including Todo+ and Projects+.
  • autogit: A CLI app for executing a series of commands (composable via plugins) across multiple repositories at once.
  • bump: A CLI app for updating a project's version, updating/creating the changelog, making the bump commit, tagging the bump commit and making the release to GitHub. Opinionated but configurable.
  • Svelto: A gigantic UI framework which I've spent more than a full year working on and I've yet to properly document!
  • 100+ other repositories.

Why Patreon?

Developing software takes time, and even though open-source software is extremely valuable to people it's very difficult for us to capture any of that produced value, and we obviously still need to make a living too. Having a more stable revenue stream would allow me to dedicate more time to the open-source community, better support the projects and the maintainers I rely on and iterate faster on my own projects.

These are some of the goals I'd like Patreon to help me achieve:

  • Publish more open-source tools and spend more time on existing ones.
  • Support some projects I rely on and help them iterate quicker too.
  • Properly document Svelto, so that it can be used by other people too.
  • Develop some kind of paid service out of Notable, so that its development can proceed much faster and maybe in the future I could even hire one or multiple people to work full-time on it.

If monthly donations are not your thing I accept donations via PayPal too.

Thank you!

Thank you for even just considering supporting me :)
