Hi! I'm Fawne and I'm an artist living in Thomaston, Georgia. Odds are that if you're reading this, you probably already know me and my work. If you don't, well here's the gist:

I've been working hard to make a living creating art for over ten years. Four years ago I opened up Flint Rose Studio to serve as my work space and as a classroom where I host paint parties and other creative happenings, such as a paper lantern workshops, Christmas ornament parties, and a week-long art camps for kids during the summer. It's slowly grown into a nice, artsy beacon in my small town and I am very proud of it.

I'm a big believer in the importance of art in a community. For the past few years, I've helped put together a sidewalk chalk art fests, placed hundreds of pieces of art for Free Art Friday, organized several artists for various art fundraisers, collected boxes of crayons for local students, painted a mural behind the local dance studio, and made paper lanterns for the annual Christmas Light Parade. And I have so much more that I want to do!

As you may know, making a living as an artist is hard.
I bounce from commissions to personal artwork to hosting birthday parties etc. etc. etc. to make ends meet. But the work isn't always guaranteed... I learned that the hard way a few years ago when I went through a dry spell and decided to get a part-time job at a restaurant. That's a story for another time, though.

So let's try out Patreon! Let's see how this goes! I've crowdfunded various projects before and I've always been so humbled at the amount of people who are supportive of my work. Patreon is a lot like those other sites but instead of one big donation to a project, this is more like dropping a dollar or two in a virtual hat every month. This support could be enough to help me along on some of the big ideas I have in store for this future. At the very least, it could help ease the financial burden that comes with running a storefront: rent, internet, gas, electricity, paint, & other supplies, etc.

I appreciate every like, every thumbs up, every share. An artist is not an island... I definitely cannot do this alone and I'm glad you'll be along for the ride.

Check out the three levels of support. Rewards include downloadable coloring sheets drawn by me, videos of behind the scenes, and discounts on my Etsy store.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
