Patrons,
This is Claire Doerr and welcome to Fine Fragments! This page serves as an outlet for me to express my thoughts and ideas and share what excites (and upsets) me. While my various posts shed light on how I think, feel, and act, I recognize that they are merely 'fine fragments' of who I am. Like most if not all articles and writings, they are inherently representative. However, that being said, I craft each article or written post with the intent of staying true to what I consider my most authentic self.
A little bit about me: I currently live in Portland, Oregon, yet I will be moving away soon to start my college adventures in NYC. I am an avid crossword solver, a lover of all things French, a salad aficionado (I work at a salad restaurant) and an absolute nerd when it comes to politics, the brain, and the French Revolution. I have two younger brothers and an adorable Australian miniature labradoodle named Zamboni. On a lazy Sunday afternoon, you can find me curled up on the couch reading and annotating The New Yorker and sipping on chamomile tea.
Feel free to contact me when you feel inspired.
Best,
Claire
