Thanks for stopping by the new Five Times August Patreon page. It's been a while since FTA has put out anything new and I was thinking it's time we change that. For those who aren't familiar, Patreon is kind of like an ongoing Kickstarter or PledgeMusic crowd funding site, but, instead of shooting to raise one big amount for one big project (like a full length album) we'll be collecting smaller amounts each month that will allow me to continuously release new tunes on a regular basis.

What You Do:
Simple, become a Patron! Create your account and choose an amount in which you'd like to support each new song that Five Times August releases. Every time a new single is put out you'll be charged that amount. No worries, you can set a cap on how much you want to spend a month if I was to have a REALLY productive month. But just to be transparent, I'm only planning to release 1-2 songs a month (if that helps). The great thing is the more you give, the more you get in rewards :) From sending you postcards in the mail, access to rare archived recordings, to special one-on-one online guitar lessons via Skype (see below), there's some cool stuff available so check it out. *Note that you can also change how much you'd like to give at any time so you're not locked in to any one amount forever!*

So, in short, think of this as sort of a "pay what you want" monthly subscription to Five Times August with exclusive access to stuff you can't get anywhere else! Pretty cool :)

What I Do:
In exchange for your support I'll be working on brand new original music for you. I'll also be recording some cover songs here and there and putting together new YouTube videos for the masses, all of which you'll be the first to see & hear. The idea is to have something new for your ears to enjoy each month. You'll also have access to a Patron-only feed where I'll be in direct contact with you. I'll be utilizing the feed to communicate with you on a regular basis, start open conversations, get to know you better, and post stuff that won't be on Facebook and Twitter. This will be a whole separate form of communication than the social sites, much more personal and special :)

And Then:
Eventually I'll be taking the best of all these future recordings and putting them together for a brand new Five Times August album. This is going to be a great way for you to follow that journey and also get the rare stuff that eventually won't make it on the new album, like all the cover songs and home demos, etc.
