About Chris Oakley and Rich Johnson

The Football Attic: Rewind is a podcast brought to you by Chris Oakley and Rich Johnson.

Chris Oakley
was born in London and moved to New Zealand in 2012. A West Ham United supporter, he co-produced Some People Are On The Pitch, a football blog that ran from 2006 to 2010, and The Sound of Football Podcast (which he presented between 2009 to 2012. He created the Kitbliss website in the early 2000s where he continues to indulge his interest in football kit design.

Rich Johnson
was born in Coventry and continues to live there to this day. In 2011, he joined forces with Chris to create the football nostalgia blogsite The Football Attic. Running for four years, it documented such diverse topics as Subbuteo, Panini football stickers and Shoot magazine and spawned well over 30 podcasts. Rich has since written a book about his diverse collection of football shirts titled The A-Z of Weird and Wonderful Football Shirts - Beer, Broccoli and Bruised Bananas.

The Football Attic: Rewind sees Chris and Rich reunited with a single aim in mind: to watch old episodes of Match of the Day and The Big Match and talk about the more nostalgic aspects of both on this, their new podcast.
