PLUS you'll be entered into a monthly draw to win a concept table design drawing from a word of your choice. You'll get a colour pdf of the final piece and the original ink drawing too!
As a Draughts Person you get to see all the happenings in the factory. Your support will keep the boilers full of coal and all machines working on projects for gaming.
PLUS you'll be entered into a monthly draw to win a physical piece of unpainted, 3D print/element that is in production that month, could be a gauge for a cosplay weapon or a set of Warcry 28mm walkways. A potluck surprise.
As part of the drawing office you'll get a 45 min skype session with Steve every month to discuss your design challenges for narrative games, army background and/or scenery projects.
As a kid, I always loved making things, from Airfix kits to Lego drinks machines. Some projects were more successful than others It was my introduction to Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer that really opened my mind to creating worlds, characters and adventures. Ever since, tabletop gaming and roleplay games have been part of my life. I’ve decided to start FooteWorks to share my projects; the thinking and research that goes into them, and hopefully inspire others to make the crazy ideas inside their heads too.
I currently share my projects on twitter - a great way to reach the community but it is limited in the amount and types of content you can put out and single tweets can get lost in the whirlpool of other gaming messages out there. Using the Patreon tagging system you will be able to look back in time or keep up with the design and build of the projects you're most interested in.
I do jump about with projects, ideas and thoughts on one project whilst building another, this platform allows me to continue that work flow and not confuse you all.
The fun thing for me will be the ability to share ALL my project ideas, some never become anything physical - looking forward to peoples thoughts on these and who knows maybe even save them from the concept graveyard...
What will your support do?
It will allow me to do more, more projects that I can share, with better video kit to give you all a better look at all the happenings in the FooteWorks Factory. I'll be able to test out new materials and processes, explore electronics and even programming for arduino and more interactive pieces.
I have created a starting set of tiers, I will look to expand them once we are up and running. So keep an eye out.
Thanks for looking - enjoy your hobby.
