Making this content accessible is important to us! We've recently made the switch to a pay what you can model of support to open up access to our community and the content we're sharing here, to everyone.

For The Wild is always looking for support. We are so grateful for the generous sponsorships we occasionally receive, but we cannot produce the podcast on their generosity alone. We need listener support to stay running and commercial-free. Your contributions ensure that For The Wild remains an independent media source while providing a living wage to our team.

Our supporters will receive weekly episode transcripts and access to premium content including: inside listens, field recordings, access to our online podcast study guides about Bears Ears National Monument, Embodying the Revolution, and the Climate Crisis, and access to other special edition content from Ayana.

⁣Each week, through the podcast, our team works to share stories of the Anthropocene (the present geological epoch, during which humanity has begun to have a significant impact on the environment). We know that story has the power to compel change, to connect us, to nourish us, and to echo forward through time. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣So many stories need to be heard right now. We've created this space so we can share more content, and so that we can build community together. We welcome any and all support.

About For The Wild

For The Wild is an anthology of The Anthropocene; focused on land-based protection, co-liberation, and intersectional storytelling rooted in a paradigm shift from human supremacy towards deep ecology.

In 2014, founder and host Ayana Young, found herself overwhelmed by the realities of the Anthropocene, this climactic era defined by human. Through her yearning to break through the denial and complacency of modern civilization she birthed this weekly conversational podcast.
Each week we host visionaries, scientists, land-defenders, Indigenous leaders, and movement builders of today, who are forging a regenerative way forward.

Since its inception six years ago, For The Wild Podcast has blossomed into a powerful platform for critical discourse and coalition-building among allies committed to social justice and liberation, wilderness conservation, Indigenous sovereignty, ecological renewal, and the dissolution of human supremacy.
