Let me know that you think what I'm doing is really useful, to really motivate me to do more of it. You'll get a monthly update on what it is that I've been doing, and once you've been a patron for a while I will send you some project stickers.
I'm working on building secure, robust and resilient communications with quality of service support using traditional networks and amateur radio techniques for both leisure and emergency situations.
In HamBSD, I hope to build a complete amateur radio network stack for OpenBSD including support for KISS TNCs and APRS that is backwards compatible with existing equipment. I also hope to innovate, designing and implementing new protocols to get more out of amateur packet radio.
If HamBSD sounds like something you'd like to have exist the please sign up to motivate me. I'd like to get some project infrastructure together and perhaps invest in some equipment to better test support for the drivers I'm writing with different makes/models.
Roughly once a month I'll post a patron-only update here on what it is that I've been working on.
