About Emma Judson

I created Foul Mouthed Fido on Facebook in February 2015, he has some opinions that, as a dog trainer I'd like to express but can't upset my clients with...

Alongside that I am an artist with interests in a variety of media, including but not limited to.. drawing, painting, cartooning, animation, felting and more!

Having a regular income from Patrons would allow me to concentrate on producing more online content, such as more Fido toons but also more infographic's such as those featuring 'Dude the Prude' a non-swearing dog character who features in posters that can be shared freely, downloaded, printed and distributed as necessary.

Art costs - as a disabled person on a low income, finding the finances to fund brushes, canvases, paint mediums, pencils, pens, felting materials etc is hard - digital work also has its costs, I use a graphics tablet (currently a very old and out of date budget model not really suited to my needs now), and graphics programs are not cheap.

I take on a small number of private commissions each year but not having reliable health limits how many big pieces I can take on.
$43.16 of $2,000 per month
Art costs a lot to produce, and you can't produce quality art with sub-standard materials.
I try to be as economical as possible, but materials and equipment cost - brushes for acrylic paint run to £13 or more, alcohol markers £3 each, bristol board and watercolour paper £7 to £15 for just 20 sheets.

It all adds up, so the more you can help me out with covering the cost of materials, the more I can focus on producing art - both the whacky, creative, crazy stuff in felt or paint, and the cartoon work, including infographics on Facebook.
