Who are we?
Frame Rated is an independent Film and Television online publication, created by a team of talented freelance writers, founded in 2015. Some of us have also contributed to Empire, Total Film, The Guardian, Vulture, Metro, MSN, Sky Movies, SFX, HeyUGuys, What Culture, Digital Spy, and others.

We're based in the UK, offering content more tailored to British audiences, UK distributors, and release dates than our peers.

Why do we need your patronage?
We're determined to keep Frame Rated low on annoying advertisements, sponsored content, and other marketing elements. However, this creates a challenge of how to keep the site financially viable. Our writers currently contribute their time and work for free, in their spare time, to enjoy the freedom of our brand while developing their own voices.

If you donate money towards Frame Rated, this will ensure the following:

  • We can pay our writers for their hard work.
  • We can attend more public cinema screenings.
  • We can purchase 4K Ultra HDs/Blu-rays/DVDs for review.
  • We can alleviate financial burdens of web-hosting.

We also have big plans for the future, to expand our output (perhaps into podcasts or video), but none of this is possible without donations from people who like what we do... and want to help us grow and improve.

Thank you for your support!
