Milestone Goals
A Digital Copy of Frank and Steinway's first collection of comic strips!
If we reach this goal, I will do Frank and Steinway everyday. Also, every patron will receive a PDF version of Frank and Steinway's first comic strip collection. In full color! If you are one of the $5 and up supporters, you will get a digital copy of the next collection once it's finished.
A New Comic Strip!
If we reach this goal, I will begin working on Torvald Chronicles! It's another of my pet projects that I've been wanting to get out there. And you'll be the ones to benefit from it!
It's Graphic Novel Time!
When this milestone is reached, I will begin drawing a graphic novel, starring our hapless monsters. This book will be done in Long Form and in full color. Patrons will be able to see each page when they are completed. I will include some behind the scenes extras from the book. If you are one of the $5.00 dollar and up supporters, you will automatically get a PDF version of the graphic novel when it is completed. $10.00 and up patrons will get a printed version mailed to them!
It's Alive! Alive, Alive!
Wow! This one's a long shot. But if we ever get here, I will begin creating 1 to 2 minute animated shorts of Frank and Steinway, to further saturate the internet! Maybe stitch them together to form...(gasp) a full episode? It's high because I'll probably need an aid of some animators, as well as some voice actors. All the patrons will have access to the short clips! All the $5.00 and up patrons will get a download of the collection.
About
My name is Wil Panganiban. I'm a creator at heart! I love to draw, write, and make people laugh. I create the syndicated comic strip and webcomic, Frank and Steinway.

Frank and Steinway is a comic strip about famous unemployed monsters, trying to start their lives over again. For four years now, I've
been drawing my comic strip in hopes of reaching that
elusive dream, Syndication. Recently,
that dream came true. Frank and Steinway
began its run on newspapers in May of 2014!
As you can imagine, I was absolutely ecstatic at reaching such a
milestone. But I'm also very realistic
in knowing that being newly syndicated means a long hard climb up the mountain,
usually for a small financial return. With
the current state of newspapers today, that's become an even steeper climb.

With your patronage I hope to alleviate some
and hopefully, all of the financial burdens that have come to impede Frank and
Steinway's steady progress. With less
time to worry about expenses, I can fully concentrate on simply creating great
content. This in turn opens up new
avenues to take Frank and Steinway. I
would love to tell longer stories, relying less on simple gag-a-day
formats. On the joke side, I'd like to be able
to have an outlet for jokes that I could never get away with in the newspapers;
push the envelope, while keeping good taste. The patrons and the audience will be my judge
and jury, not the editors.

Finally, I'd like to take
Frank and Steinway to their ultimate destination, animation. I'd like to do small animated shorts,
building up to a full episode. The potential is definitely there. I'd need a help of an animator, or two, and they cost money. A few studios have come calling, but I'd hate
to give up my babies to a corporation.
In the end, my hope, as is the hope of every single artist here on
Patreon, is to control my path and retain as much independence as possible with
my characters and ideas. I hope you can
help Frank and Steinway reach their goals.
I would like for my Patreon page to be a favorite destination place. With that, I'd like to showcase more of my skills. This includes my illustration skills, as well as my other comic strip ideas. All are available as prints and post cards for qualifying patron tiers!

These and more are available here in our page. In the future, I'd like to start my webcomic project here. It is a more serious, action themed story I've always wanted to tell. Only your support can really help me go forward with this. Again, only with your patronage can things be possible.
Thanks for looking!

Creating a strip that is
published both in the papers and online requires quite a lot of time. As for money, well, have you ever tried to pay for tools and living expenses with a cartoonist's salary? I've got tons of comic material on that. To keep my dream going, I've taken on a plethora of freelance work, on
top of a full-time job. That leaves very
little time to write draw and color my strips, much less sleep. Now, I know what you're thinking. What is a "plethora"? I don't know. It sounded important--but let's move on. As I've said earlier, I've come so far on my dream to give up now. That's where Patreon comes in.
