About Fraser Murdoch

Hello!
Ever wondered how visual & special effects are done in your favourite TV shows and movies? Ever wanted to learn about filmmaking from someone in the industry? Ever wanted to see with your own eyes high-end visual storytelling getting made?

Well, I say this not to disappoint you or tease you. I plan to show you just that, here, on this Patreon page! But, this is a team effort - I can't make the content without your subscription...

<<< PLEASE FLICK THROUGH THE GOALS

AND SCROLL THROUGH THE PERK TIERS >>>

Before now, I have shared the progress of my own projects (which you can surf back and take a look at.)
Now, I am going to show you examples of all sorts of effects created in the filmmaking process - the magic of cinema and the magic of what can be achieved in the department of visual effects.
I'll even discuss other departments' work - as when you make films it is all a team game!

So, join the team. Me and you. As we work together to create behind the scenes videos and content which showcases the variation of work that goes on this field and wow people with the possibilities in cinema now and in the future!

WHAT YOU'VE SEEN SO FAR:

  • "Tubgate: Cunningham's Scrap" - film development and festival circuit.
  • "Utapia" - the development of pre-production - concept art, pre-visualisations, hot seating, sizzle reels, pitch decks.

WHAT YOU WILL SEE NEXT:

  • Backtracking and finding things I've missed out from the above - woops! Focussing on the visual effects and animation processes involved.
  • Looking through other jobs and films of my own - working on the footage to create all sorts of effects found in the filmmaking process.
  • I'll explain my views on the cinematic storytelling and visual storytelling mediums - how all the departments work toward telling the best story possible!
  • "Tubgate / Dockland" - the animated series currently in development (based on "Tubgate: Cunningham's Scrap")
  • Creation of films as we reach common goals

<<< PLEASE FLICK THROUGH THE GOALS

AND SCROLL THROUGH THE PERK TIERS >>>

What we achieve is all based on combined goals - which you see to the left - so for this it's all about rallying around your friends and family to get more numbers toward this page, so share and share away (and share some more)!

What we can create together can be a lot of fun and very interesting for those interesting in the films and TV shows they watch each week or each day!

That's the main info and aims I can think of for now - please get in touch if you have any questions at all!

Many thanks for visiting my Patreon page and I really look forward to working with you!
Goals
$4 of $50 per month
For this initial goal, I will share MONTHLY insights into the films I've made - all that behind the scenes stuff!

The post will include:-
- A written or verbal blog entry detailing a particular area of the filmmaking process - giving insight from the filmmaker themselves, reflecting on their experience.

Remember, the more we reach, the more we can create together - so get sharing with your firends and family and spread the word!
