About
Mark Stanley is an instrument and controls technician who has delusions of being a cartoonist. He's run nuclear reactors for Uncle Sam, repaired nuclear reactors away from Uncle Sam, and has gotten away from the nuclear field to make electricity by burning dirt for Detroit Edison.

Freefall is a science fiction comic that has been running since 1998. It appears free on line at Freefall, and I plan on keeping it free. It's a hobby that's grown far beyond anything I expected and Patreon is an experiment to see if perhaps my hobby should become something more.
Becoming a Freefall patron will allow me to shift from my day job of fixing the little fiddly bits on large pieces of machinery to writing and making comics. If enough people are interested, Freefall will become my day job and I'll go to producing comics seven days a week. Which means the people at Detroit Edison will be safe from my puns and the reliability of the electric grid goes up a small percent.
