In the mighty first wave of Swedish heavy/power metal bands, together with bands like HammerFall, Nocturnal Rites and Lost Horizon and Freternia was created in 1998. After a split EP, and 2 full length albums. "Warchants & Fairytales" was released in 2000 and the follow up "A Nightmare Story" was released in 2002.  The band slowly dissolved in 2003. But the band officially never split up, and after a get together last year (and under the influence of some bottles of rom) the old members realized that 2018 would mark the 20th anniversary of the band.

Since the band dissolved the band’s music has lived its own life at social medias, with a strong following in South America. Not to mention that the fan video to the ballad ”The Dragon Song” now has over 420 000 streams at YouTube.

Freternia released their third album "The Gathering" in June 2019 through ROAR - Rock of Angels Records and are now back with full force.

Why Patreon?

We pay for most of our expenses ourselves. For example touring, accommodation, traveling, food etc. Since we all have daytime jobs it means loss of income if we take time of from work to tour. We would like to spread our music even more and get out on the road and gig. With your support maybe we you get a chance to see us play live.

Anything else?

Yes, and most importantly - THANK YOU! Because of the support from people like you, we're able to continue to make the best metal music that we can. Whether or not you decide to donate, know that we are honored to have you as fans and friends.
