About
Winning the World Frisbee Championships really changed my life...
I started doing school shows demonstrating my skills and telling my "frisbee stories"
Then I started juggling and taught juggling as well as frisbee tricks and skills...
I presented at 100's of phys-ed conferences...teaching teachers how to teach simple skills
I wanted to improve my stage skills so I started attending clown and comedy training/workshops...
I continued to amaze, entertain and inspire audiences of all ages and abilities...
My hometown went from Toronto to Bethlehem, PA to Salem, WV to Winchester, VA
Married since 2007 and while I never had any children of my own I now have two grandkids who call me "Grandpa Frisbee"...
I got the notion to create an opportunity to showcase friends who are performers with tremendous talent and so started "Variety & Vaudeville a la Winchester"
So far the community has been very receptive and supportive...and I hope you will be too.
Thanks!

The five week series of "Variety & Vaudeville a la Winchester" ran from Jan 31 to Feb 28th (with one show cancelled due to a snow storm that shut down everything).
There was a great article in the Winchester Star before the debut and photos and videos from all the shows were posted regularly on facebook.com/myvvwin and twitter @myvvwin
The Old Post Office was our chosen venue and people were thrilled to be inside the historic site.
Many thanks to Aida Adams who has an office of Winchester Wellness on the premises.
Friends from Artisan Graphix supplied awesome t-shirts for attendees (while supplies lasted)
The George Washington Hotel provided accommodation for the visiting performers
Steamy's became our pre- or/and post-performance stop for great food
And after 5 weeks of constantly updating facebook and eventbrite and scheduling the next show as soon as one ended you'd think I'd be done with that... it's over! Yippee!
It's not quite like that... you see, hearing positive feedback from so many people and seeing so many families enjoying live, quality performances on a Saturday morning week after week... and knowing that there are many more performers out there who would love to come to Winchester...
This train's going to keep on rolling... with a little help.
Not every week but more like once a month (or maybe twice) from March until December and then weekly again in January and February
Our range of performers included Rich Potter as Bert the Nerd, Michael Rosman and Moira Lee,
Me the Frisbee Guy and Kevin Owens, Mandy Dalton (who came for the storm and still had a great time!) and Mark Lohr with his family show called "Laugh Out Lohr"
Who will we have down the road? Do I have even more talented friends who are willing to come perform for the lovely people of Winchester? I sure do and I'd like to start booking as soon as possible
Will the shows continue to be held at the Old Post Office? Some of them will be and others will take place at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, Handley Library, the Arts Council, George Washington Hotel Ballroom, the Discovery Museum and at the new Taylor Hotel amphitheater
Will there be a weekend festival? Hope so...
