About froggey

I'm the creator and primary developer of Mezzano.

Mezzano is an operating system developed from scratch and inspired by the historic Lisp machines.
It is written in Common Lisp (including low-level code) and designed to support modern hardware.

There is a major focus on live development - functions, classes and other components at every level of the system can be added or modified at runtime.
Like the Lisp machines it uses a single address space, no separate protection domains, and no isolation between programs, relying on the safety of the language to prevent and limit damage from bugs.

It is currently developed as a hobby, but I would like to create a system that I - and maybe others - could eventually use as my main operating system.

If you find this appealing, please consider supporting my project.
