Overclockalypse -- Chronicles of the Flaming Robot:
Tier 1 Penguins
Tier 2 Robots
Tier 3 Dragons

I'm Michael Macha, an interactive artist. I have a background in engineering, writing, and music; and a passion for putting together compelling works in 3D, audio, and gaming.

You'll find my Itch.io stuff here.

The current major project is "Overclockalypse — Chronicles of the Flaming Robot", temporarily on a brief hold as I transfer my entire development studio to Linux Mint, and work on a list of smaller projects for game jams. Long-story-short, it's about a set of smart appliances attempting to escape from a burning building. It's a metroidvania in 2.5D.

Also available is my premier Unity project, "The Penguin and the Dragon", a mobile phone arcade quarter-eater (just, you know, minus the quarters) about a penguin attempting to gather treasure from the sea to impress his date. (Plus, you know, there's a dragon.) It's free on the Play Store for Android; but patrons also receive the Windows & Linux versions.

By joining this community of backers, you will have access to the compiled binaries for as long as you're backing. It will be available on Windows and Linux off the bat, with other platforms tacked on in the future. This creator page began for pitching my projects, but it also functions as a portfolio for me, and is updated frequently. I like to take time after a busy day to get in touch with my creative impulses, and notify the Patreon and the Discord every time something new goes up.

Feedback from any-and-everyone is always appreciated and helpful.

I'm not new to game programming, in fact, I'm decidedly old-school. My first programs were games, and that was roughly twenty five years ago. Since then I've been a DJ, a writer, and more recently a 3D artist; along with having taken a long journey down the rabbit-hole of office software development (which did have its merits). The point comes when one can no longer ignore the fact that he was born for entertainment!

So thanks for swinging by, and keep a look out!
Tiers
Fish
$1 or more per month

This is for anyone who isn't so concerned about rewards, but wants to contribute something just the same. There's plenty of room in this ocean for you guys, and you are appreciated!

Penguins
$3 or more per month
Offerers of shiny sunken things! Get versions of all products that are no more than three versions old. (As in, if I'm up to v.1.4, you would get v.1.2.) This is rotating and kept track of consistently. If you're just testing the waters, this is a great place to start.
Robots
$7 or more per month

On Fire!  Get the collection no more than two-versions-old, that is, if I'm on something like 1.6, you will have access to 1.5. Additionally, you will have access to cuts of my works-in-progress, be they videos, beats, or images; and I always look forward to constructive criticism from a fan.

Dragons
$10 or more per month

Guardians of the treasure hoard! You get the most recent builds of all of my work, along with the Work-In-Progress stuff pledged to the Robots. I'm super-appreciative!
