Hello —  my name is Gabriel Hemery. I'm a creative environmental scientist with a huge passion for trees. How big you ask? Well, big enough that I've a PhD in walnuts (yes, yes, I really am Dr Nuts!), and for my day job I co-founded and run an environmental charity.

I know I'm not alone in appreciating the beauty and importance of our trees. Alongside my blog followers, readers of my books, and fans of my photography, my passion is sharing this love.

All this creativity costs me money, from website fees to technical equipment, and of course travel. I also take time off work from time-to-time to work on some of my bigger projects.

I've turned to Patreon in the hope that some people may want to support my environmental creativity. I really don't know if Patreon is going to work for me. If people like what I do I hope they may buy one of my books or a photograph. But there may be a deeper fan base out there among those who have an equal passion in trees and the environment, and for what I do. If there is, then at least Patreon will allow these lovely people to support me to the core and invest in me and my future projects.

If you are one of these people, or you are even thinking of becoming a Patron, thank you.
