About Game Conference Guide

What is it?

Game Conference Guide is as simple as it sounds. It tracks every games industry and game developers conference, event, trade show & summit around the world.

In 2020 majority of the events started to move into digital space and with all the updates, a simple tracker had to be created to stay informed and have all events in one place. First, there was a basic spreadsheet, later developed into stand-alone tool accessible on any device anytime with more data points, full-texts search, labels, filters, graphs and integrated calendar.

Who is behind it?

Game Conference Guide is ran and curated by me, Pavol Buday with the help from EGDF (European Game Developers Federation) and SGDA (Slovak Game Developers Association) acting as a co-curators. I have been in the games industry for more than 20 years, starting as a journalist, then moving into PR and events. Today, I am part of the team responsible for boutique games industry conference Reboot Develop Blue set in Dubrovnik, Croatia and Reboot Develop Red happening in national park Banff, Canada.

Why to support?

It helps to keep the lights on, database and tech up-to-date + advanced new features requires  more experienced designer / programmer.
