Who are we?

The Garage Video Sessions seeks out amazing local musicians as well as those passing through Charlottesville, VA and creates beautiful live videos of their songs with incredible scenery with high quality audio. The Garage Video Sessions has been featured on The Village Voice and The Wall Street Journal.

What do we want?

The music industry is a field full of passionate individuals who pour their time and effort into their craft. We provide The Garage Video Sessions absolutely free of charge to the bands. This is a labour of love for us, but we're hoping that we can find a way to financially sustain the video releases. For bigger shoots we bring on more crew to ensure everything is recorded as best as possible, and most of these people have been doing it for the price of dinner after the shoot. They are worth way more than that and we're hoping that we can return their kindness with a little compensation.

Why Patreon?

We've had many discussions on how to keep this going and we strongly feel that the best way would be through crowd funding. This will sustain the videos and make The Garage Video Sessions easily accessible to everyone. We're hoping to do that through your support on this site.
