After reading "The American Story" I was hooked.

This was Garet Garrett's final work that relays America's history in narrative form -- it was commissioned by Regnery publishing to be used in school classrooms.

This was a few years ago.

I have since purchased many original editions of the books of his I can find. Reprints too.

I've also spent many hours in old public libraries converting G.G.'s articles into .pdf form.

I was initially planning on arranging the content of his many articles into short topical e-book readers -- ex: "Garrett on Labor" -- but that hasn't yet happened.

I don't know when or if it will as of now.

But this is where Patreon comes in...

I've set up GaretGarrett.org as a labor of love, though it is a half-measure of what his legacy deserves: it has some of the .pdfs I've formed... it has his major essays... it has "The American Story" e-book available for no-cost download. I also launched a podcast where I personally read G.G., making his work available in serialized audio form.

More will be done with G.G. as time permits, but I am asking for those who appreciate this little monument to a great man to chip-in and support the project -- I have specifically chosen to avoid erecting a paywall to get the .pdfs which literally can't be found anywhere online so far as I can tell.

Thanks for visiting -- and I hope you'll help me continue this work.

Cheers,

Kyle

Support freely given means no paywall for any of the content on the website. Your support means the website stays online, more content is published, and more podcasts made. Cheers, and thanks to all patrons!
